If you want to code a Firefox Extension that automatically installs itself everytime Firefox is started, just install it below the main Programmfolder (c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Extensions) and each time Firefox starts, it will be loaded.
That’s good to know if you want to code worms, spy- or adware or other stuff. Learned from a Google Toolbar installation that went gaga. Maybe Mozilla should take more care here and allow a total remove of an Extension. The normal remove via the Extensions Dialog does not work in this case.
