PHP 3 isn’t mostly any longer in use for a while on many systems and projects. But from time to time when you handle legacy code you might want to take a quick look in the older docs. Unfourtionatly php.net nor museum.php.net does provide the old docs browsable. I assume they have good reasons to do so but others may think differently. I for myself thought it would be nice to have the PHP 3 Documentation online mainly to get a quick compability check for functions.
