Today I spend my first time in using Scribus and this thingy works flawlessly. I could produce a flyer in less than 30 minutes and PDF Export worked real great.
Scribus is an open source desktop publishing software than runs under linux, mac osx and windows. It is made for professional printing.
I found the UI very clear and could start right away. I’ve been using QXP, PM, IND and AI for such tasks before and comparing to those Scribus is comparable and solving some things even better with a more clear UI. I’ll stick with it for upcomming and bigger projects.
